Moving the hives

 Before moving into the house, I needed to get the hives moved. Moving Top Bars hives on legs is not easy.  A beekeeper friend offered to help move them on his flatbed bed truck.

I had to make sure that the top bars were all secured for the ride. At least we didn't have too far to drive.

We made it safely to the new property 

The colonies should do well here. The old quarries to the east and south will provide a lot of good foraging. Then a pasture on the north.
