My bees were putting up so much nectar that the queen had no place to lay. When this happens, the workers think there is a problem with the queen or they have no more space (the works just need to build more comb). But with these cool temps and rain for several days, they will go through all of the stored nectar. So not complaining about them being nectar bound. I will have to feed my new hives since they have not had the time to build up comb and store much nectar.
This past weekend it rained from Friday until Sunday with a total of over 4" of rain. Now, the rain started yesterday and will continue until Sunday.
