June was rather mild in temperature but very wet. Lots of heavy rains and high humidity. Towards the end of June, the day time temps climbed into the 90s. Temps for July have stayed in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
One of the biggest worries about so much rain, is that the bees will stay in the hive and consume honey stores. I have seen several hives of other beekeepers that have no stored honey or pollen. Heavy rains will also rinse nectar from flowers.
