January tempuratures

These up and down temps are rough on the bees.  They will warm up, break cluster, then eat more. This is one reason they run out of food before spring. Some people have also said that that if the temp drops too quickly, they may have trouble getting back into a cluster.

 This coming weekend will be in the lower 50s.  I plan on checking the hives and adding more candy.
