Since this new property is 3 acres, I had to buy a riding mower. Today's high was in the lower 70s F, so I decided to try out the new mower. As I started mowing the edge of the back of the property where the hives sit, I found two swarms in the Honey suckle! So I stopped mowing and went to get my gear and my only empty hive and asked another beekeeper if they wanted the other swarm. Got the one swarmed hived and while I was looking for a box for the other one, one more swarm was found!! 3 swarms from my hives! Had another beekeeper come up to get that one.
