Fall bloom is over

Goldenrod and Snakeroot are all but done. September has been a very dry month with little no rain.  Temps have cooled down from a week in the lower to mid 90s.

Checked the two sticky boards from the middle two Langs and some mites. Not too many.
Decide to try a sugar syrup with Tea Tree Oil and winter green. No one in town had winter green oil and had to drive 35 minutes north to a candy shop to buy an ounce.

1tsp wintergreen
1tsp Tea Tree oil
1 cup water

Put in blender at high speed for several minutes. Dilute to 1/2 gallon. I used only one cup per 5 gallons. I wanted to see the bee's reaction to the Tea Tree oil. It does have a strong odor.

Made up 2, 5 gallon bucket feeders.
