Mild weather, then back to winter

During the past week we have seen some nice mild weather for a change. Several days have been in the lower 50s with the bees all out taking substitute pollen and water.

This Sunday will be a major snow event according to the latest prediction.

Then the temperature will drop for a few days into the single digits at night.

I plan on tarping over the Langs before the snow to help with windchill and hold in some heat.
