The new 8 frames boxes came with an Eco stain which gives the wood an aged look. I decided to paint the hives white and add some stenciling.
This year, I want to spread the hives out more so that none are right beside each other. This can help with hives not spreading disease and other pests to each other. I like hive stands that are double wide allowing to place boxes removed from hive right on the stand and not on the ground.
