On a whim, I decided to see if Duke Energy would take down the trees that were sorta close to the power line along the road. Been wanting these down for a while now, but I was afraid one would land on the power line. They approved the request! I marked all that I wanted down and I was surprised that they took down the big Tulip poplar since it really wasn't that close to the road.
Most of this will be firewood, but might be able to mill some of the larger logs.
There is an old foundation of the original garage here. It was also a blacksmith shop. The owner accidently caught on fire and it burned. Lots of cool artifacts. Once cleared, I will start to landscape the area.
