Big swarm up in an apple tree. Think that was a 10' ladder. Very mean bees! No idea why this swarm was so upset. Got stung several times and they would follow me in the garage on the property. I had to give up cutting the limb and just gave it a good shake. The swarm ended gathering on the top of a small pine tree. That made it easy to shake into the box. I usually put the hive box into the front seat, but not this one! It went in the back of the truck. Once at home, they calmed down.
